Getting Started with Cabinet Planner

Welcome

Cabinet Planner is a browser-based professional cabinet design tool. Whether you're a hobbyist woodworker or a production cabinet maker, this tool helps you design, plan, and generate manufacturing-ready documents for your cabinet projects.

Creating Your Account

   Visit the registration page and enter your name, email, and password

   You'll start on the free Starter plan with 1 project and up to 5 cabinets

   Upgrade to Pro anytime for unlimited projects and advanced features

Your First Project

   Navigate to Dashboard

   After logging in, you'll see your dashboard with all projects

   Create New Project

   Click "New Project" to create your first cabinet project

   Name Your Project

   Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "Kitchen Upper Cabinets")

   Open the Editor

   Click on your project to open the editor workspace

Understanding the Editor

The editor has several key areas:

Adding Your First Cabinet

   Click "Add Cabinet" in the left panel

   Set the dimensions: Width, Height, and Depth (in millimeters)

   Choose a construction type (how panels join together)

   Select front type: none, single door, double door, or drawers

   Assign materials for carcass and fronts

Saving Your Work

• Projects auto-save to the cloud as you make changes
• Access your projects from any device by logging into your account
• Use the undo/redo feature (up to 50 states) to reverse changes
